- My organisation has recently made the decision to adopt IBM VisualAge C++
- 3.0 as its preferred future development toolset. We will be using DB2/2
- and DB/400 for database services and deploying apps on AS/400 and OS/2 PC
- clients. I am one of a group of developers introducing VAC++ to the
- larger team and we are currently very much in a "crawl before we walk"
- stage with the product, and C++ in general, our prior experience having
- been with RPG, SQLWindows, Access, Clipper, Superbase etc.
-
- Judging from a quick check of comp.lang.c++ subject lines, it seems that
- there is little or no discussion of VAC++ here. Does anyone have any
- cautions, anecdotes, opinions etc. to bring to this newsgroup? Also,
- which other NGs might be useful?
